2019: Appeared in 13 games as a senior, including one start... Had two strikeouts and allowed one earned run through 3.2 innings for the win in a 13-11 decision against Utica on April 9... Allowed one earned run through 2.0 innings in an 18-10 win over Amherst on April 12... Finished the season with a 1-1 record, 5.79 ERA and averaged 4.24 strikeouts per nine innings through 23.1 innings pitched... Completed his Hamilton career with a 2-4 record, 5.04 ERA and 4.01 strikeouts per nine innings through 60.2 innings pitched... Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team... Received NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team honors.

2018: Appeared in 12 games as a junior... Held Hope hitless in the seventh inning in an 11-5 win on March 20... Took the mound with two outs and the tying run at the plate in the top of the seventh inning and allowed just one hit in the final 2.1 innings to earn the save in a 7-5 win over No. 6/8 SUNY Cortland... Finished the season with a 5.74 ERA and averaged 2.87 strikeouts per nine innings through 15.2 innings pitched... Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. 

2017: Appeared in 12 games during his sophomore season... Gave up zero hits through 1.1 innings and had one strikeout in a 7-5 win over No. 8/9 Oswego on April 5... Had four strikeouts through 2.1 innings in a 12-3 win over Utica on May 2... Finished the season with a 3.75 ERA and averaged 4.50 strikeouts per nine innings through 12.0 innings of work... Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2016: Appeared in six games as a first-year... Finished the season with a 3.72 ERA and averaged 4.66 strikeouts per nine innings through 9.2 innings of work.

Personal: Majors in mathematics... Minors in economics... Brett attended Allentown High School... He played for the New Jersey Marlins for two years... Brett is the son of Stan and Maria Sandford... His twin brother Craig '19 is also a member of the baseball team.
