Biography

Honored with the Milton H. Jannone Award at the 2019 Jack B. Riffle Senior Varsity Athlete Celebration. The Jannone Awards have been presented annually since 2009 to a male and female senior athlete who exhibit outstanding athleticism, leadership and academic accomplishment.

2018: Served as a captain during her senior season... Ranked fifth in the NESCAC by matching a career-high .794 save percentage and posted a 1.78 goals-against average... Ranked third in the NESCAC with 108 saves... Recorded 10 saves for a shutout win against William Smith on Oct. 3... Made 15 saves in back-to-back overtime wins against No. 18 Amherst on Oct. 6 and No. 16 Williams on Oct. 9... Finished the season with a 10-6 record... Selected to the 2018 NFHCA Division III Senior Game roster... Completed her Hamilton career with a .771 save percentage and 1.99 goals-against average, and she is ranked second on the program's all-time list with eight career shutouts.

2017: Started all 15 games as a junior... Posted a .709 save percentage and 1.78 goals against average... Obtained a 9-6 record with one shutout... Received All-NESCAC First Team honors... Earned New England West Region first team honors.

2016: Started all 17 games during her sophomore season... Ranked second in the NESCAC with a .794 save percentage and 112 total saves... Had a 1.69 goals against average... Obtained a 12-5 record with 5 shutouts... Led Hamiton past No. 9 Amherst in the NESCAC Quarterfinals with a 1-0 victory at Goodfriend Field... Honored as third team NFHCA Division III All-American... Earned New England West Region first team honors... Voted the NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year and collected first team all-conference honors.

2015: Made 11 starts as a first-year... Posted a 3.05 goals against average and a .763 save percentage with a 6-5 record on the season... Earned her first collegiate win on Sept. 9 with a 2-1 win over RPI.

Personal: Undeclared major... Julia attended Greenwich Academy... She played on the HTC Field Hockey Club team for three years... Julia is the daughter of John and Laura Booth.
