Biography

2018: Played in six of nine games as a junior... Helped protect quarterback Kenny Gray '20 as Hamilton accumulated a season-high 293 passing yards in a 62-27 win against Bowdoin on Oct. 13.

2017: Started all nine games as a sophomore... Helped protect quarterback Kenny Gray '20 as Hamilton accumulated a season-high 365 yards through the air at Tufts on Sept. 16... Helped pave the way for the Hamilton ground game in a 28-7 win at Bowdoin on Oct. 14 as the Continentals tallied a season-high 208 rushing yards.

2016: Played in seven of eight games as a first-year... Helped protect quarterbacks Cole Freeman '18 and Kenny Gray '20 as Hamilton accumulated a season-high 368 yards through the air in a 26-25 win over Bowdoin on Oct. 15. 

Personal: Majors in biology... A.J. attended Old Forge High School... He is the son of John and Michele Cantarella... His brother Mike Cantarella '20 is also on the Continentals football team.
