2019: Played in all nine games as a senior... Had four (3 solo) tackles in a 45-24 win against Colby on Sept. 28... Grabbed an interception and broke up a pass at Trinity on Oct. 5... Matched a season-high six (5 solo) tackles in a 31-28 win against Amherst on Oct. 19... Helped hold Middlebury to a season-low 112 passing yards on Nov. 2... Finished the season with 35 (30 solo) tackles and one interception... Completed his career with 106 (78 solo) tackles, 15 broken up passes and seven interceptions.

2018: Played in all nine games as a junior... Had seven tackles, including two for a loss of five yards, against Tufts on Sept. 15... Recorded a career-high eight tackles against Trinity on Oct. 6... Tallied personal-best seven solo tackles with two interceptions in a 62-27 win against Bowdoin on Oct. 13... Scored his first career touchdown at Colby on Oct. 20 when he scored on a 40-yard interception... Fifth on the team with 48 tackles (33 solo)... Led the team in interceptions (4) and broken-up passes (7).

2017: Played in all nine games as a sophomore... Matched a season-high four solo tackles at Trinity on Oct. 7... Broke up two passes during the fourth quarter in a 27-24 comeback victory over Colby on Oct. 21... Recorded a season-high five tackles and added an interception at Williams on Oct. 28... Grabbed his second interception of the season on Nov. 4 at Middlebury... Finished the season with 22 tackles (15 solo) and two interceptions.

2016: Played in seven of eight games as a first year... Recorded his first tackle on Nov. 12 to help contain Bates to a season-low 167 total yards in a 24-7 victory.

Personal: Undeclared major... Sam attended Boys' Latin School of Maryland... He is the son of Frances Kemp and Paul Bowen.
