ORLANDO, Fla. – Hamilton College finished 4-0 on its Florida trip as the Continentals posted two wins by 5-2 decisions against upstate New York opponents at USTA National Campus on Monday, March 23.
 

Season Update

• Hamilton (5-3 overall) is ranked 34th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Men's Division III Top 40 coaches poll.
• St. Lawrence University (2-4) dropped its fourth straight meeting with the Continentals. The Saints last defeated Hamilton in March 2017.
• Union College (5-4) has lost the last 14 meetings with the Continentals. The Garnet Chargers' last victory in the series came in the spring of 2007.

 

How It Happened

• In both matchups, Hamilton swept the three doubles matches for the doubles team point and captured four of the six singles matches.
• The Continentals were victorious at Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 6 singles against both opponents.

 

Notes

• Tarun Korwar '27 improved to a team-best 19-7 this season and 57-19 for his Hamilton career with two singles wins.
• Eerik Villem Aadamsoo '28 swept his singles matches and moved to 29-17 for his career.
• Anson Anderson '26 took both singles matches and reached the 50-win milestone for his career.
• Alejandro Fernandez '28 was a winner twice in singles play and is second on the team with a 13-4 record.
• Aadamsoo and Lleyton Mendieta '28 improved to a team-best 16-7 this season and 35-16 in their career as a doubles pairing with two wins at No. 1.
• Anderson and Korwar are not far behind Aadamsoo and Mendieta with a record of 12-6 after two more victories at No. 2 doubles. Anderson notched his 60^th career doubles win.
• Alexei Katelevsky '29 and Filip Moller '29 won their first two matches as doubles partners.
