Men's tennis drops NESCAC match at No. 2 Tufts

Katelevsky '29 and Moller '29 were winners at No. 3 doubles for the Continentals

MEDFORD, Mass. – Hamilton College's Alexei Katelevsky '29 and Filip Moller '29 were winners in doubles play, but the Tufts University Jumbos defeated the Continentals 7-0 in a NESCAC match inside Tufts' Gantcher Family Field House and Convocation Center on Saturday, March 28.
 

Season Update

  • Hamilton (5-4, 0-3 NESCAC) had won its previous four matches.
  • The second-ranked Jumbos (10-2, 2-0) extended their win streak to four.
 

How It Happened

  • Tufts won the other two doubles matches and collected the team doubles point.
  • The Continentals took the Jumbos to three sets in the No. 1 and No. 5 singles matches.
 

Notes

  • Katelevsky and Moller won in a tiebreaker at No. 3 doubles. They have won three straight matches as a pairing and have a 3-1 record at No. 3 doubles this spring.
  • Katelevsky has a 4-3 doubles record in dual matches this spring. Moller's record is 3-3.
