Hamilton College's
Dana Schwartz '26 (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth HS) and
Jack Quinn '27 (Reading, Mass./Reading Memorial HS) compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wis., from May 21 through May 23.

Quinn grabbed the 22
nd and final spot in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:06.11 that he recorded at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) championships in late April. He's one of 11 runners in the first heat that is scheduled to get underway at 6:35 p.m. Central time (7:35 Eastern) on Thursday evening.

The top four finishers from each of the two heats plus the next four fastest times advance to the final at approximately 6:10 p.m. Central (7:10 Eastern) on Friday the 22
nd. Quinn is in the national championships for the first time.

Schwartz, who is also preparing for her first NCAA meet, is ranked seventh out of 22 athletes in the women's javelin throw with a team-record distance of 43.84 meters (143 feet, 10 inches). She accomplished that feat at the Monmouth University Season Opener back in late March. Schwartz competes in the javelin on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. Central (3 p.m. Eastern). She is in the second of two flights.
