CLINTON, N.Y. – Ithaca College's Molly Gibson went 3-for-4 with two doubles and the Bombers won game one of a doubleheader against the Hamilton College Continentals by a score of 6-2 at Hamilton's Loop Road Athletic Complex on Wednesday, April 1. Hamilton led game two 8-4 in the top of the fourth inning before the contest was suspended due to darkness.

How It Happened
- Ithaca jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Gibson drove in Anna Bello with a double to right center during the frame, and Madison Schoenenberger launched a two-run home run to center field.
- The Bombers added one run in the second for a 6-0 advantage.
- Hamilton's Miranda Mosqueda '28 ripped a double to left field to lead off the bottom of the second, and Hadley Rogers '26 drove her in with a single up the middle.
- Kelsey Vadnais '28 led off the bottom of the seventh with a double to right center field, then Lydia Mirabito '26 hit a line drive off the wall in center field for a double and drove in Vadnais to make it 6-2.
Notes
- Mosqueda went 3-for-3 with a career-best two doubles and a run scored.
- Alexis Mayer '26 added two hits.
- Aubrey Purvis '27 allowed four hits and one run in 6.1 innings in relief.
- Hamilton recorded 12 hits compared to six for Ithaca.
- Mady Rowell pitched all seven innings to collect her third win of the season for Ithaca.
- Schoenenberger finished with a game-high two runs batted in.
