CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals battled back from an early deficit and took a second-half lead, but the Colby College Mules scored an equalizer in the 75th minute to salvage a 2-2 NESCAC draw at Hamilton's Love Field on Saturday, Oct. 24.

How It Happened

  • Hamilton took its first lead of the match in the 55th minute.  Abby Douglass '27 intercepted a pass at midfield, carried the ball forward and found Diana Baffor '29 who delivered a pass in behind the defense for Harvey. Harvey placed a left-footed shot past the oncoming goalkeeper with her first touch and put the Continentals in front, 2-1.
  • Boller dove to stop a shot by Luczkow from the top of the box in the 60th minute, then punched away a long free kick attempt by Annie Liebich with 21:22 remaining in the half.
  • Colby's Ami Vithiananthan scored from distance in the 75th minute and tied the match at 2-2.
  • Amanda Schneider nearly put the Mules back in front in the 78th minute, but her volley from the middle of the box bounced off the crossbar.
  • With just over one minute remaining, Sullivan unleashed a shot from outside the box that was deflected on its way toward goal, but Gardner reacted quickly and stretched out to make the save and keep the match level.
