CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished first in 14 events and registered a dominant 234-61 win over the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10.

Jade Matthias '26 took first place in the 100 backstroke (58.16) and the 50 freestyle (24.55). Megan Janczyk '29 finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.09) and the 200 breaststroke (2:28.97). Zoe Reynolds '28 was also victorious in two individual events with wins in the 200 butterfly (2:12.87) and the 100 butterfly (59.74).

The Continentals also won both relay events. Paige Wielgus '28, Janczyk, Chloe Lan '28 and Carolyn Miner '27 finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:48.92), while Miner, Matthias, Wielgus and Lan made up the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:38.35).

Hamilton claimed the top three spots in the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 500 freestyle, 200 IM, and the 200 freestyle relay.

Lucy Meola '26 finished second in both the 1 meter and 3 meter diving events.

In their first meet of 2026 the Continentals improved their dual meet record to 2-2. They will return to action at No. 25 Ithaca College on Saturday, Jan. 17.
