NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – Four Hamilton College players broke 80 and the Continentals were in fourth place out of eight teams after 36 holes of the 2025 NESCAC Women's Golf Championship at a soggy Yahnundasis Golf Club on Saturday, May 3.
Nationally ranked No. 20 Hamilton slipped from second place after the first round, but the Continentals are closer to the top spot than they were through 18 holes due to a jam-packed leaderboard that featured four teams within three strokes of the lead.
Hamilton posted a four-person team score of 312 on Saturday and is at 626 for the tournament. Williams College (623), Bowdoin College (624) and Middlebury College (625) held down the top three places with 18 holes to go.
Aubrey Lee '28, who led the Continentals with a 78.29 stroke average going into the weekend, carded a 4-over par 77 in the second round. Lee posted a birdie three on the 315-yard second hole and is tied for eighth place out of 39 golfers at 155 for the tournament.
Olivia Strigh '25 made two birdies and posted a 78 on Saturday. Strigh's four on the par-five 10
th hole was Hamilton's only birdie on the back nine. She is in seventh place at 154 for the tournament.
Sydney Dweck '27 birdied two holes on the front nine and fired a 78 in the second round. Dweck is tied for 13
th place at 159 through 36 holes.
Keira Joshi '27 recorded a 79 for the second day in a row and is tied for 11
th place at 158 for the tournament. Joshi was one of three Continentals who birdied the second hole and she added another on the 370-yard, par-five eighth.
Players begin teeing off at 11 a.m. in the final round on Sunday, May 4. The first Hamilton player begins their round at 11:50 a.m.
