WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Hamilton College women's golf team finished in fifth place out of 10 teams at the Williams College Spring Invitational, which was held at Taconic Golf Club on April 19 and 20.
Nationally ranked No. 17 Hamilton recorded a four-woman team score of 315 on Saturday and added a 324 on Sunday for a tournament total of 639. Williams and Wellesley College finished at 618, and Middlebury College was third at 628.
Sydney Dweck '27 led the Continentals in a tie for 12
th place out of 60 golfers. Dweck posted a 76 in the final round and ended up with a career-best 36-hole total of 158.
Angela Liu '27 was just one shot back in a tie for 14
th place. Liu carded a 77 in the first round and registered a tournament total of 159. The 18- and 36-hole totals were season bests for Liu.
Olivia Strigh '25 was another shot back in a tie for 18
th place. Strigh's 4-over par 75 on Saturday was Hamilton's best round of the tournament and her best this season.
The Continentals don't compete again until they host the NESCAC championship at Yahnundasis Golf Club from May 2 to May 4.
