Quote
"This was a great college tennis match," Head Coach
Billy Boykin said. "Bates has a strong team and they're well-coached. They made us work for everything. Our players were really tough in the big moments today. I thought we showed a lot of grit and a lot of determination."
About the Seniors on Senior Day
"Fittingly, our seniors led the way for us on Senior Day," Boykin said. "They put us up early in doubles action and then sealed the match for us down the stretch. This senior class means so much to this program. We will miss them tremendously."
Looking Ahead
"There is still a lot of tennis to play over the next few weeks," Boykin said. "We will hit the practice courts hard and keep working to get better. This group is focused. This group is hungry."
