CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College posted impressive victories against Bowdoin College and SUNY Oneonta inside the Continentals' Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday, April 12.
Season Update
- Nationally ranked No. 34 Hamilton (13-4, 3-4 NESCAC) recorded one of its biggest wins in team history with a 5-2 decision over No. 5 Bowdoin. The Continentals cruised to a 7-0 triumph against Oneonta early Saturday evening.
- The Polar Bears' (11-2, 5-2) only other loss this season was against Tufts University.
- The Red Dragons (6-9) dropped their fourth straight match.
Bowdoin Match
How It Happened
- Hamilton's No. 1 doubles pairing of Connor Griff '25 and Antonio Chavez '28 prevailed 6-4 against Pieter Breuker and Kiran Garapati in a 4-6 victory. The Continentals' No. 2 pairing of Anson Anderson '26 and Tarun Korwar '27 were victorious by the same score against Jackson Codd and Mark Kneiss as Hamilton clinched the team doubles point.
- Four Continentals prevailed in the singles arena. Eerik Villem Aadamsoo '28 lost the first set but bounced back and was able to secure a 7-5 victory in the third set after achieving a 6-2 victory in the second. Lleyton Mendieta '28, Korwar and Anderson were strong in their victories as all of them prevailed in straight sets.
Notes
- This is Korwar's and Anderson's 11th win as a doubles pairing this season. Anderson improved his career doubles record to 46-32.
- Chavez and Griff are 16-8 as a team this season. Chavez is 22-9 in doubles this season while Griff became the first player in team history with 50 career doubles wins.
- Aadamsoo and Anderson secured their 15th singles victories this season.
- Korwar continued his fantastic season with a 17-4 singles record including 11-2 in dual matches. His career record is a sparkling 35-11.

- Sternberg and Tran improved to 15-6 all-time as a doubles pairing. Sternberg won his 11th doubles match this season.
