The Hamilton College Continentals opened up their outdoor season on Saturday, March 29 at the Monmouth University Season Opener in West Long Branch, N.J., and on Sunday, March 30 at the Utica University Almost Spring Invitational in Utica, N.Y.

Hamilton placed 10th out of 21 teams with 19 points at the multi-divisional Monmouth meet. Princeton won the meet with 172 points. Utica's invitational was a non-team scoring meet.

Two team records were set during the weekend.
Keira Rogan '28 finished the women's 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:33.73 at Monmouth. It's the seventh-fastest time on the NCAA Division III performance list so far this season. Amanda Chase '03 held the old record of 4:35.34 since April 2003.

Dana Schwartz '26 broke her own team and facility records at Utica in the javelin throw with a distance of 37.50 meters (123 feet, 0 inches). Schwartz held the previous team mark of 35.85 meters that she set on April 27, 2024.
