Four Hamilton College athletes earned NCAA Division III all-America honors for the women's 200-yard freestyle relay on Monday, March 24 when the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) of America announced the award winners and all-Americans for the 2024-25 season.
The all-America team was selected on the basis of performance at the NCAA championships and a team's current membership with the CSCAA. Any individual or relay that competed in the championship final (top eight) in any event made the first team, and any individual or relay that competed in the consolation final (ninth through 16th) in any event was on the second team.
Ashlyn Blessey '26 (Fairfield, Conn./Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall), Chloe Lan '28 (Arnold, Md./Broadneck HS), Jade Matthias '26 (Reading, Pa./Mercersburg Academy) and
Carolyn Miner '27 (Manchester, Conn./Manchester HS)Â finished in seventh place in the consolation final (15
th overall) of the 200 free relay at Greenboro Aquatic Center on March 20. The quartet posted a time of 1:34.36 in the consolation final.
Matthias collected her third all-America second team honor (2024 for 100 backstroke and 2023 for 200 free relay). Blessey picked up an all-America second team award for the second time in this event (2023). Miner and Lan are all-Americans for the first time.
