Quote

"We competed hard today, but just came up short," Head Coach Billy Boykin said. "Credit to MIT, they outplayed us in the big moments. This Continental team gets better with each outing. In nearly every singles match, we played better in the second set than we did in the first. We are a resilient group. We'll keep working and keep trying to improve each week. We are looking forward to more match play.

"We saw some great efforts from our seniors today. I thought Hannah and Stephanie played a tactically sound doubles match and executed very well, especially in the tight moments at the end. Shannon, who is back from injury, played some really good tennis to push her match to a third set super-breaker. These seniors are a competitive group. They've played a lot of matches at this level. They will be leading the way for us this year. Very proud of them."
