Women's squash plays Brown, Wesleyan and Dickinson in busy weekend

Bailey '25, Glass '25, Nadel '27 and Karimov '26 won matches for the Continentals

The Hamilton College Continentals dropped three matches in three days from Friday, Jan. 31 to Sunday, Feb. 2.
 
Hamilton, which is 25th in the College Squash Association (CSA) women's varsity team rankings, started the weekend with a 6-3 loss at Brown University (club). The Continentals fell 9-0 at No. 20 Wesleyan University on Feb. 1 and wrapped up the weekend with an 8-1 loss against No. 19 Dickinson College inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Feb. 2.
 
Eleanor Bailey '25 moved up to the first position and pulled out a five-game win in the Brown match. Eliza Glass '25 prevailed in four games at the fourth position and Chiara Nadel '27 swept her opponent in three games at the fifth position. Glass has 24 career wins and Bailey has 22. The Continentals lost two matches by default.
 
Mila Karimov '26 recorded Hamilton's team point against Dickinson with her victory in three games at the eighth position.
 
The Continentals compete in the CSA Divisional Team Championships at Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia from Feb. 28 to March 2.
