PHILADELPHIA – The Hamilton College Continentals dropped their last two Walker Cup matches at the 2026 College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships inside Arlen Specter US Squash Center on Feb. 28 and March 1.
Hamilton (9-11 overall) lost by 6-3 decisions against Franklin & Marshall College in Saturday morning's semifinal and against NESCAC foe Bates College in Sunday morning's third place match. The Continentals were 22nd in the Feb. 23 CSA varsity team rankings and seeded second in the Walker Cup draw. Franklin & Marshall was seeded third and Bates was seeded fourth.
Lily Spencer '26 was a winner in four games at the fourth position in the Franklin & Marshall match. Spencer led Hamilton with nine wins this season.
The rest of the Continentals' victories came from the bottom of the ladder.
Natalie McCollum '29 swept Franklin & Marshall's Destiny Ponce in three games at the eighth position and won by default at the ninth position against Bates. McCollum finished the season with a perfect 6-0 record.
Kathryn Swords '27 triumphed in three games at the ninth position against Franklin & Marshall,
Mila Karimov '26 prevailed in three games against Bates' Maeve Mufson at the seventh position, and
Gardner Huston '29 lost just four points in three games against Bates' Andrea Perez at the eighth position. Karimov posted a team-high three wins against NESCAC opponents, and Huston owned a 6-2 record in her first season.
