CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College dominated the top of the ladder and the Continentals posted a 6-3 win against the Connecticut College Camels inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
The Continentals, who are 28
th in the College Squash Association rankings, picked up their first win against a NESCAC opponent this season. Conn. College (2-8) is ranked 27
th.
Sarah Stonestreet '25, Eleanor Bailey '25 and
Karis Sun '28 were winners in three games at the first through third positions, respectively. Sun has won two of her three matches this season.
Gainsley Korengold '25 improved her career record to 15-10 with a three-game victory at the fourth position.
Eliza Glass '25 picked up her 22
nd career win as she prevailed in five games at the fifth position. Glass clinched her match by taking the fifth game, 11-9.
Kathryn Swords '27 gave Hamilton its sixth team point by sweeping her opponent in three games at the eighth position. Swords recorded her third career win.
The Continentals travel to Maine for a match with Bates College on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m.
