ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Amelia Johnson '28 broke her own team record in the women's 60-meter hurdles at the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Rochester Institute of Technology Thursday Meet inside Gordon Field House on Jan. 30.
Hamilton was one of 10 teams competing in the meet on Thursday. The Continentals return to competition on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Utica University's Blue and Orange Invitational.
Johnson posted a time of 9.69 seconds in the preliminary heats before she finished third in the finals in 9.83 seconds. She established the previous record of 9.78 seconds on Dec. 7.
Kate Scibelli '26 took first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.39 that qualified her for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference indoor championships in March.
Emily Pogozelski '26 captured first place in the 1,000-meter run with a personal-record time of 3:06.78.
