CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College dominated the top of the ladder in the Continentals' 7-1 win against the St. Lawrence University Saints inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Wednesday evening, Jan. 29.
The Continentals are 27th in the College Squash Association varsity team rankings while St. Lawrence is 23rd. Hamilton travels to Brown University – a club team – for its next match on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.
Sarah Stonestreet '25, Eleanor Bailey '25 and
Karis Sun '28 were the winners at the top of the ladder for the Continentals. Stonestreet swept her opponent in three games at the first position. Sun leads the team with a 6-2 record.
Gainsley Korengold '25 outlasted her opponent in five games at the fourth position. Korengold captured the fourth and fifth games, and her rally improved her career record to 17-13.
Chiara Nadel '27 and
Kathryn Swords '27 swept their opponents at the sixth and seventh positions, respectively. Hamilton won at the eighth position by default.
