BOSTON – Hamilton College's
Keira Rogan '28 shattered her own team record in the women's one-mile run in the non-team scoring New England Small College Invitational at The TRACK at New Balance on Sunday, Jan. 26.
All 11 NESCAC schools were represented at the meet. Rogan finished second out of 50 athletes with a time of 4:57.07, which is currently 10
th on the NCAA Division III descending order list that's used for the national indoor championships. Her old record of 5:03.66 was set on Jan. 17 at the Utica University Winter Opener.
Amelia Johnson '28, who holds the team record in the 60-meter hurdles, nearly qualified for the finals in the event as she placed ninth with a time of 9.84 seconds in the preliminary heats.
The Continentals compete at the Rochester Institute of Technology Thursday Meet on Jan. 30 at 4 p.m.
