BRUNSWICK, Maine – Hamilton College's
Carson Hall '26 posted a goal and an assist in the Continentals' 4-1 NESCAC win over the Bowdoin College Polar Bears inside Bowdoin's Sidney J. Watson Arena on Friday, Jan. 10.
Season Update
- Hamilton (9-3-0, 5-1 NESCAC) is ranked ninth in the USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll.
- Bowdoin (5-7-0, 3-3) dropped its fourth straight contest.
How It Happened
- Hall gave the Continentals a 1-0 lead 5:38 into the first period. Jacob Ierfino '27 forced a turnover in the Polar Bears' defensive zone and he slipped a pass to Hall who fired a shot from the point that settled in the upper-left corner of the net.
- Hamilton doubled its lead on a power-play goal by Luke Tchor '27 with 5:34 remaining in the second period. Philpott received the puck in the left faceoff circle and guided a pass down near the top-left side of the crease to Grisha Gotovets '25. Gotovets directed a backdoor pass to Tchor who buried a one-timer into the net from the bottom of the right faceoff circle.
- Cameron Miranda '26 extended the Continentals' cushion 2:03 later on a breakaway goal after a Bowdoin turnover in its offensive zone.
- Bowdoin's Gabe Shipper scored the Polar Bears' lone goal during a power play with 10:42 remaining in the third period.
- The Polar Bears traded goaltender Jacob Osborne for an extra skater with 3:43 left, but after two saves by Charlie Archer '25, Devon de Vries '27 capped Hamilton's scoring on an empty-net goal with 56.5 seconds left.

- Hamilton owned a 16-5 shot advantage in the first period.
