Men's tennis takes 8-1 NESCAC setback at Colby

Korwar '27 won at second flight singles for the Continentals, improved to 17-4

CLINTON, N.Y. – Colby College swept the three doubles matches and the Mules went on to an 8-1 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals in a match played indoors on Colby's campus on Sunday, April 7.
 
Hamilton (6-7, 0-5 NESCAC) aims to return to the win column against Connecticut College on Saturday, April 13 when the Continentals will honor their seniors. Colby (5-5, 2-1) is 49th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Collegiate Tennis Rankings.
 
Tarun Korwar '27 continued his excellent rookie season as he triumphed in three sets at second flight singles. Korwar prevailed 10-7 in the third set super-tiebreaker. He improved his singles record to 17-4 overall including 11-2 in dual matches and 3-2 against NESCAC opponents.
