CLINTON, N.Y. – Two Bowdoin College players rallied to win their singles matches in three sets and the Polar Bears went on to a 7-2 NESCAC victory against the Hamilton College Continentals inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday, April 6.
The Continentals (4-4, 1-3 NESCAC) host Colby College, which is 31
st in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Collegiate Tennis Rankings, for another conference match at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 7. Bowdoin (5-4, 2-0) is ranked 22
nd by the ITA.
Stephanie Pratt '25 was a winner in singles and doubles play for Hamilton. Pratt prevailed in straight sets at second flight singles for her first victory against a NESCAC opponent this spring.
Pratt teamed up with
Hannah Apsey '25 for an 8-3 triumph at first flight doubles. They are 5-2 this spring and 11-5 in their career as a doubles team. Pratt and Apsey are sixth in the Northeast Region doubles rankings.
