LUDLOW, Mass. – Amherst College swept the three doubles matches and the Mammoths went on to an 8-1 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals inside Ludlow Tennis Club on Saturday, March 30.
The match was moved indoors due to windy conditions. Hamilton (6-5, 0-3 NESCAC) is 48
th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Men's Division III Collegiate Tennis Rankings. It's believed to be the first time the Continentals are ranked in team history. Amherst (8-2, 3-0) is ranked 18
th.
Connor Griff '25 picked up Hamilton's team point with a win in straight sets at first flight singles. Griff is 8-0 in dual matches including three victories against conference opponents, is 21-1 this season, and 53-16 in his career with the Continentals.
Hamilton plays another NESCAC match at Bowdoin College (9-3, 1-0) on Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m.
