CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College swept the three doubles matches and the Continentals went on to a 7-2 NESCAC win against the Trinity College Bantams inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Sunday, March 24.
 
The Continentals (3-2, 1-1 NESCAC) are 30^th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Collegiate Women's Tennis Rankings. Hamilton takes on University of Rochester (3-4 overall) on Friday, March 29 in the third of an eight-match homestand.
 
Hannah Apsey '25 and Grace Qian '27 won both their singles and doubles matches for the Continentals. Apsey was a winner in straight sets after taking the first set 7-6 (7-2) in a tiebreaker at first flight. She paired up with Stephanie Pratt '25 for the victory at first flight doubles as they improved to 9-4 all-time as a team. Apsey has a career doubles record of 33-18.
 
Qian also prevailed in a first set tiebreaker, 7-6 (1), en route to a win in straight sets at fourth flight singles. She leads Hamilton with eight singles victories. Qian teamed up with Ally Turtledove '25 for the triumph at third flight doubles.
 
Samantha Rainero '26 and Shannon Cicero '25 swept their opponents at fifth and sixth flight singles, respectively. Rainero has 15 career singles wins and Cicero picked up her 20^th.
 
Priyanka Challapalli '27 and Hannah Walpole '26 were victorious at second flight doubles. They lead the Continentals with six wins as a doubles team. Walpole already has 23 career doubles victories as a sophomore.
