COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado College's Kendall Havill scored five goals and the Tigers defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 16-11 at Colorado College's Washburn Field on Wednesday, March 20.
Season Update
- Nationally ranked No. 20 Hamilton (3-2 overall) has lost two straight after opening the season with three wins in a row.
- The Tigers (4-3), who received votes in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll, have won four of their last five including two straight against ranked teams.
How It Happened
- Two goals by Caroline Shay in the opening 5:32 of the first quarter gave Colorado College a 2-0 lead and the Tigers never looked back.
- The Continentals pulled within a goal twice. Sydney Anzelone '27 scored off a feed from Sarah Stonestreet '25 and made it 2-1 with 7:56 left in the first. An unassisted goal by Maddigan Leifer '26 pulled Hamilton within 3-2 with 2:35 remaining in the quarter.
- Colorado College held a 4-2 advantage after the first 15 minutes, led 9-6 at the half and pushed it to a four-goal cushion at 12-8 through three quarters. The Continentals didn't get closer than that in the fourth quarter.

- Aine Cleary '25 scored a season-high four goals and leads Hamilton with 14 points.
- Julia Lee '27 scored three goals for the third time this season and tops the Continentals with 12. Lee added three draw controls and three ground balls.
- Leifer finished with a goal and an assist and won a career-high eight draw controls.
- Avery Trach '27 posted a goal and an assist. Trach has scored at least once in every game this season.
- Stonestreet ended up with two helpers and leads the team with four on the season.
- Anzelone and Alex Orlando '25 scored their second goals this season.
- Maddie Boger '25, who was playing for the first time this season, picked up an assist for her first collegiate point.
- Meghan Lane '24 collected five draws and three ground balls and caused two turnovers.
- Anna Zoccolillo '25 scooped up a career-high four ground balls.
- Casey Fiore '24 started in goal and made four saves in 19-plus minutes.
- Kaitlin Reed '24 relieved Fiore and stopped five shots the rest of the way.
- Charlotte Iler added three goals and two assists for the Tigers.
- Tobin Lonergan contributed three goals and an assist, and Shay finished with two goals and two assists.
- Evelyn Baher-Murphy picked up five ground balls, Devon Ortman won five draws and Amanda Roan caused four turnovers.
- Cassidy Schnaufer turned away 12 shots including six in the fourth quarter.
