No. 30 women's tennis drops two road matches against ranked teams

Apsey '25 and Pratt '25 won at first flight doubles against MIT

The Hamilton College Continentals lost two women's tennis matches on the road against top 12 teams on March 9 and 10.
 
Hamilton (1-2, 0-1 NESCAC), which is 30th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Collegiate Tennis Rankings, lost 8-1 against No. 12 Massachusetts Institute of Technology inside MIT's J.B. Carr Tennis Bubble in Cambridge, Mass., on Saturday.
 
The Continentals dropped a 9-0 decision against No. 5 Wesleyan University inside Wesleyan's Bacon Field House in Middletown, Conn., on Sunday.
 
Hannah Apsey '25 and Stephanie Pratt '25 earned Hamilton's team point with an 8-6 win against their MIT opponents at first flight doubles. Apsey and Pratt are 7-3 as a doubles team with the Continentals. Apsey improved her career doubles record to 31-17 while Pratt picked up her 20th doubles victory.
 
Hamilton returns to the court on Friday, March 22 for a home non-conference match against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at 4 p.m.
