Hamilton College's Jade Matthias '26 (Reading, Pa./Mercersburg Academy) and Nathaniel Taft '27 (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde HS) have qualified for the 2024 NCAA Divison III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C., from Wednesday, March 20 through Saturday, March 23.

Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. A total of 526 swimmers will compete in the championships.

Matthias qualified for the championships in the women's 100-yard backstroke and is also entered in the 50 and 100 freestyle. She participated in the 2023 championships as part of the Continentals' 200 and 400 free relays, and earned second team All-America honors as Hamilton finished 12th overall in the 200 free relay.

Taft qualified for the national meet in the 50, 100 and 200 free. The 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Rookie of the Year has one of the top four times in Division III in all three events.
