The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Amherst, Mass., for the 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Hockey Championship and will play Amherst College at Amherst's Orr Rink in a semifinal on Friday, March 1 at 4 p.m.

Amherst hosts all three games this weekend. Middlebury College and Colby College play in the second semifinal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The semifinal winners meet in the championship final at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, and the winner of that game earns the conference's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championship.
Nationally ranked No. 8 Hamilton (14-5-6 overall) finished 6-5-5 in conference play and tied for third in the NESCAC standings with 26.5 points, and is the fourth seed for the championship. The Continentals reached the conference final for the first time in 2023. Hamilton blanked Trinity College 2-0 in the quarterfinals on Feb. 24 behind 24 saves by NESCAC player of the week
Mac Donovan '26. The Continentals, who are seventh in the PairWise rankings, have just two regulation losses this season.
No. 3 Amherst (21-2-2) finished 12-2-2 in conference play and first place in the NESCAC standings with 38 points, and is the No. 1 seed for the championship. The Mammoths defeated Hamilton in the 2023 conference final. Amherst shut out Bowdoin College 2-0 in the quarterfinals on Feb. 24 for its ninth straight win. The Mammoths, who are third in the PairWise rankings, opened this season with a 2-1 overtime victory at Hamilton on Nov. 18 and edged the Continentals by the same score in regulation the following day.
