The Hamilton College Continentals host the Amherst College Mammoths in a 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Hockey Championship quarterfinal at Russell Sage Rink on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.

Hamilton (16-7-1 overall) finished fourth in the conference standings with 33.5 points and an 11-6-1 record, and the Continentals are the fourth seed for the championship. Hamilton has won its past three games -- all by one goal. The Continentals swept the season series against Amherst with a 3-0 victory in the season opener in Clinton and a 7-6 triumph in Massachusetts on Jan. 19. The second game featured 51 penalty minutes.
Luke Tchor '27 leads the NESCAC with 19 assists and 32 points.
The Mammoths (14-9-1) finished fifth in the conference standings with 27.5 points and a 9-8-1 record, and Amherst is the fifth seed for the championship. The Mammoths have a 9-3-1 record away from home this season. Amherst is tied for the NESCAC lead in goals per game, and the Mammoths' special teams is second-to-none as they are tops in the conference in power-play percentage and penalty-killing percentage. Ryan Tucker paces the NESCAC with 15 goals and four power-play tallies. Spencer Kimball is tied for the conference lead with 49 blocked shots.
