  • Williams (9-14-1, 6-11-1) finished its season in ninth place in the conference.

How It Happened

  • The Continentals took a 1-0 lead at 5:39 of the first period and just five seconds into a power play. Jackson Krock '26 won the faceoff and James Philpott '25 passed the puck along the blue line to Luke Tchor '27 for a one-timer from above the right faceoff circle.
  • The Ephs tied the score 7:58 into the first on a goal by Connor Berg.
  • Hamilton regained the lead with 10:41 left in the period. A wrist shot by Ben Zimmerman '26 from the blue line above the right faceoff circle was tipped in front by Grisha Gotovets '25 past the goaltender.
  • The Continentals opened up a two-goal cushion 3:19 into the second period. Nick Donaldson '27 took control of the puck behind the Hamilton net and passed it from the goal line off the left-side boards. Alex Danis '26 caught up to it in the neutral zone and broke into the Continentals' attacking zone. Danis skated into the left faceoff circle and fired a wrist shot under the goaltender's glove and into the back of the net.
  • Jared Lambright pulled Williams within a goal with 9:44 remaining in the third period after a scrum in front of the Hamilton net.
  • The Ephs pulled their goaltender for a sixth skater with just under a minute to go. A few seconds later, Logan Valkama put a shot on goal from a tough angle that Grant stopped. The puck popped up into the air, bounced off a player in the crease and almost went over the goal line before Grant secured it.
