Hamilton (11-13 overall) tied for seventh place in the conference standings with a 4-6 record and the Continentals are the eighth seed for the championship. Hamilton captured the NESCAC title in 2023 -- the Continentals' first conference crown since winning the 2006 Liberty League tournament. Hamilton is second in the conference with more than five blocked shots per game. Hank Morgan '25 is second in the NESCAC in scoring with 18.5 points per contest.

Williams (19-5) tied for first place in the conference standings with a 9-1 record and the Ephs are the No. 1 seed for the championship. Williams is currently riding a four-game win streak including a 55-54 victory on Feb. 2 against Trinity College, which is 23-1. The Ephs are 11-0 at home, but they nearly lost to the Continentals on their home court, 64-63, back on Jan. 6. Williams leads the NESCAC in 3-point field goal percentage defense and in team free throw percentage at better than 80 percent.
