UTICA, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals competed against 11 teams at the 2024 Utica University Track & Field Holiday Classic at Todd & Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The non-team scoring meet was the first of the 2024-25 season for Hamilton. The Continentals will be back at Utica for the Pioneers' Winter Opener on Friday, Jan. 17 after taking a break for finals and the holidays.
Amelia Johnson '28 set a school record in the preliminary heats of the 60-meter hurdles.
Kate Scibelli '26, Mia O'Neill '28, and
Marcella DeNitto '27 placed first, second, and third in the 600-meter run with Scibelli improving her own second-best time in team history.
