WATERVILLE, Maine – Hamilton College finished first in five events and the women's swimming and diving team split with their two opponents in a tri-meet at Colby College's Aquatics Center on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Paige Wielgus '28 led the Continentals' effort with wins in the 50- and 100-yard backstroke. Wielgus, who was competing in her first collegiate meet, won the 100 back by 1.39 seconds.
Brooks Risher '27 (1,000 freestyle),
Charlotte Moulson '26 (500 free) and
Chloe Lan '28 (50 butterfly) recorded the other victories. Hamilton claimed three of the top four spots in the 500 and 1,000 free and the 200 individual medley. The Continentals are receiving votes in the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Division III Top 25 poll.
