Four Hamilton College Continentals were selected for the 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Football All-Conference Team on Tuesday, Nov. 19 when the organization announced its end-of-season award winners.

Jake LaMalva '25 (Southborough, Mass./St. Mark's School) was one of six offensive linemen on the first team offense, and Tighe Hoey '25 (New Canaan, Conn./St. Paul's School [N.H.]) was the punter on the first team special teams. Chase White '25 (Bethesda, Md./Georgetown Preparatory School) was one of four defensive linemen on the second team defense, and Liam Leonard '26 (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River HS) was one of two return specialists on the second team special teams.

Hoey is on the all-conference team for the third time after he made the first team last year and the second team in 2021. He led the NESCAC with an average of 44.1 yards per punt, a total of 2,295 yards punting, 16 punts of 50 or more yards with a long of 70, and six touchbacks. He tied for second with 18 punts that landed inside the opponents' 20-yard line.

LaMalva graded out at 97 percent and didn't miss an offensive snap all season. He gave up just one sack in 297 pass attempts, which is a pass protection efficiency of better than 99 percent. LaMalva started all 36 games in his Hamilton career.

White finished the season with 22 tackles, including 17 solo stops, and posted six tackles for 20 yards in total losses. In 25 career games with the Continentals he made 66 tackles including 7.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss.

Leonard was second in the conference with an average of 6.8 yards per punt return with a long of 23 yards. He was fifth with an average of 17.1 yards per kickoff return with a long of 35 yards.

Hamilton ended the season with a 24-21 win against Bates College at Steuben Field on Nov. 9.
