GENEVA, N.Y. – Hamilton College players swept eight of the nine matches in three games and the Continentals coasted to a 9-0 win against William Smith College inside William Smith's Smith Squash Center on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 17.
Hamilton, which is 27
th in the College Squash Association team rankings, was playing its season opener. No. 29 William Smith dropped to 0-3 this season.
The top of the ladder featured
Sarah Stonestreet '25 at the first position in her first match since the 2022-23 season.
Eleanor Bailey '25 played at the second position and
Karis Sun '28 debuted at the third position and picked up her first collegiate win.
Gainsley Korengold '25 gave up just three points at the fourth position and
Eliza Glass '25 improved her career record to 21-15 with a victory at the fifth position.
Chiara Nadel '27 was a winner at the sixth position.
Kathryn Swords '27 (seventh position) and
Lamia Karabegovic '26 (ninth position) picked up their second career wins, and
Cecilia Miliaras '27 (eighth position) celebrated her first with the Continentals.
Hamilton hosts Amherst College on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. inside Little Squash Center.
