Men's soccer makes way to Middlebury for NESCAC quarters Nov. 2

Seventh-seeded Continentals and second-seeded Panthers kick off in Vermont at 12:30

The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Middlebury, Vt., for a 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Soccer Championship quarterfinal against Middlebury College at Middlebury's South Street Field on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 12:30 p.m.

No. 7 seed Hamilton has an overall record of 7-5-3 and tied for sixth in the conference standings with 14 points and a record of 4-4-2. The Continentals, who advanced to the NESCAC final in 2016, have lost just once in their last nine matches. Hamilton is seventh in Region I in the NCAA's NPI rankings.

The second-seeded Panthers have an overall record of 12-0-3 and tied for first in the conference standings with 24 points and a record of 7-0-3. Middlebury, which defeated the Continentals 3-1 at home way back on Sept. 7, had six wins and a tie during October. The Panthers are third in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 poll and second in Region I in the NCAA's NPI rankings.
