The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Middlebury, Vt., for a 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Field Hockey Championship quarterfinal against Middlebury College at Middlebury's Peter Kohn Field on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m.

No. 8 seed Hamilton has an overall record of 7-8 and tied for seventh place in the conference standings with a record of 3-7. The Continentals have advanced to the NESCAC semifinals twice since 2011, most recently in 2019. Hamilton is seventh in Region II in the NCAA's NPI ranking.
The top-seeded Panthers are 14-1 overall and tied for first place in the conference standings with a record of 9-1. Middlebury, which defeated the Continentals 3-1 at home way back on Sept. 7, are winners of its last two games entering the postseason. The Panthers are No. 1 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll and are second in Region II in the NCAA's NPI ranking.
