HARTFORD, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams scored the lone goal of the match in the 89th minute for a 1-0 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Trinity Soccer Field on Saturday, Oct. 26.Â
Season Update
- Hamilton (6-6-3, 2-5-3 NESCAC) is currently in seventh place in the NESCAC standings with nine points, but the Continentals have finished their regular season while the other 10 teams have one conference contest remaining. The top eight teams advance to the championship quarterfinals.Â
- Trinity (3-8-3, 1-5-3) picked up its first conference win.Â
How It Happened
- Elena Lindonen put the Bantams ahead with just 1:49 left in the second half on assists from Elsa Deutsch and Emma Almoney.Â
- Trinity held a 19-5 shot advantage including 9-0 in the first half.Â
- The Bantams owned an 8-5 advantage on corner kicks.
- Hamilton put a shot on goal in the 87th minute and took a corner kick in the final minute.Â
