HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College's Zander Zobrowski threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns as the Bantams defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 31-7 in NESCAC action at Trinity's Jessee Miller Field at Tansill Muldoon Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12.

How It Happened
- The Continentals scored on their opening drive, going 78 yards in 18 plays and taking more than 10 minutes off the clock. A three-yard touchdown run by quarterback Luke Kurzum '27 and extra point by Carmelo Velardo '27 gave Hamilton a 7-0 lead with 2:02 left in the first quarter. Kurzum fumbled the snap from under center and picked it up at the five. He ran up the middle, was stood up at the three and dragged three tacklers into the end zone.
- The Continentals converted two fourth down situations on their touchdown drive. Kurzum completed a 13-yard pass to Ezra Lombardi '25 on fourth-and-three at the Trinity 32, and Kurzum ran for two yards on fourth-and-one at the Bantam 10. Hamilton thought it was facing fourth-and-goal after an incomplete pass at the Trinity seven, but the Continentals received an automatic first down when the Bantams were flagged for defensive holding. Kurzum scored on the next play.
- Trinity tied the score on a 23-yard touchdown pass from Zebrowski to Jack Tosone and a PAT by Matthew Jumes with 5:53 remaining in the second quarter.
- Max Roche caught an 18-yard pass for another touchdown with 10:32 to go in the third quarter as the Bantams took the lead. A 22-yard field goal by Jumes made it 17-7 with 2:49 left in the third.
- Nolan O'Brien had two touchdown grabs in the fourth quarter. The first was six yards 53 seconds into the fourth quarter, and the other went for 59 yards and completed the scoring with 10:27 remaining.
- Hamilton's only other trip to the red zone came in the last 2:42 of the second quarter, but on third down at the Trinity 11, Kurzum was sacked and lost a fumble as time ran out in the half.
Notes
- Kurzum was 14 of 28 passing for 84 yards with two interceptions. He scored his fifth career rushing touchdown with the Continentals.
- Velardo has made all seven of his extra-point attempts.
- Kyle Bratcher '26 led all players with a career-high 10 tackles.
- Ian Fratarcangeli '25 added seven stops, a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry.
- O'Brien finished with 101 yards on five receptions for the Bantams.
- Jordan Atkinson posted two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
- Jason Irizarry returned an interception 26 yards and Alex Medwar picked off another pass.
- Trinity owned a 388-165 advantage in total offense.
- The Bantams enjoyed a plus-three advantage in turnovers.
