OSWEGO, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Luke Peplowski '25 scored Hamilton's lone goal and the Continentals fought to a 1-1 tie at Oswego's Laker Turf Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Season Update
Hamilton was playing its season opener while Oswego, which is a member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tied its second straight contest.
How It Happened
- Hamilton made an early statement with two corners in the first two minutes.
- The Continentals continued to apply pressure as they forced a ball-handling mishap by a Laker defender and claimed possession just outside the 18-yard box. Aedan Burke '26 took control and sent a pass to Peplowski who fired it to the lower-left corner for the early lead in the ninth minute.
- Oswego's Jason Wuytack netted the unassisted equalizer in the 53rd minute.
- Andre Bourjollu snuffed out one last scoring chance by the Continentals in the final minute when he saved a shot by Charles Hawthorn '25.
