Men's basketball plays Tufts at Williams in Saturday's NESCAC semis

Tickets are on sale for this weekend's games, Continentals play at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 25

The Hamilton College Continentals take on the Tufts University Jumbos in a 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Basketball Championship semifinal at Williams College's Chandler Gymnasium on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Williams hosts Colby College in the other semifinal at 2 p.m.

Hamilton (17-8 overall) rallied from seven points down in the final four minutes on its home court and defeated Connecticut College 64-59 in a NESCAC quarterfinal on Feb. 18. The Continentals finished in a tie for first place in the conference standings with a 7-3 record and are the No. 2 seed for the championship. Hamilton is fifth in Region I in this week's NCAA regional rankings, which are used to select the NCAA championship field.

Tufts (19-6) outlasted Middlebury College 89-80 in a NESCAC quarterfinal that went to double overtime at Middlebury. The Jumbos ended up in fifth place in the conference standings with a 6-4 record and are the No. 5 seed for the championship. Tufts, which edged the Continentals 57-54 at home back on Jan. 14, is fourth in Region I in this week's NCAA regional rankings.
