AMHERST, Mass. – The Hamilton College Continentals defeated Mount Holyoke College and lost to Amherst College at Amherst's Davenport Squash Courts on Saturday, Dec. 2.
 
Hamilton (2-2 overall) is 26^th in the College Squash Preseason Team Rankings. The Mammoths are ranked 13^th and Mount Holyoke is 31^st. The Continentals cruised to a 9-0 win over the Lyons late Saturday afternoon and fell to Amherst by the same score in the first match of the day.
 
Eliana Good '24, Zoe Reinert '24 and Gainsley Korengold '25 were winners at the top of the ladder. Korengold's career record is 13-7 at Hamilton.
 
Eliza Glass '25, Lily Spencer '26 and Chiara Nadel '27 were victorious in the middle three positions. Glass recorded the 20^th win of her career with the Continentals as she prevailed at the fourth position.
 
Brooke Hoffman '26, Chloe Lance '24 and Lamia Karabegovic '26 triumphed at the bottom of the ladder. Karabegovic celebrated her first win at Hamilton as she swept her opponent at the ninth position.
 
The Continentals won't compete again until a match at Middlebury College on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 4 p.m.
