Men's hockey hosts Trine for two games at Clinton Arena

Non-conference contests on Dec. 29 and 30 will benefit the Clinton Rink Association

The Hamilton College Continentals host the Trine University Thunder for men's hockey non-conference games at Clinton Arena on Friday, Dec. 29 and Saturday, Dec. 30.

Friday's game starts at 7 p.m. and Saturday's contest begins at 3 p.m. Clinton Arena is located in the village of Clinton at 36 Kirkland Avenue.

Tickets will be sold at the venue and the proceeds benefit the Clinton Rink Association. The Association is a not-for-profit organization which turned any and all profits back into the Clinton Arena in the form of a number of capital improvements through the years. The Association also sells dasher board advertising and all proceeds from that go back into the arena.

Hamilton has a record of 7-1 and received votes in the most recent USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll released on Monday, Dec. 11. Nationally ranked No. 14 Trine is 10-2 overall. One of those two losses was against the Continentals by a score of 4-0 at SUNY Canton on Nov. 26.
