CLINTON, N.Y. -- Hamilton College's Jade Matthias '26 finished first in three individual events and helped the Continentals to another victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay as they defeated Colby College and Trinity College at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Sunday, Nov. 19.

The Continentals were hosting their first swimming and diving meet at newly renovated Bristol Pool since January 2022. Hamilton returns to its pool on Friday, Dec. 8 for a dual meet with Division I Colgate University.

Matthias took the top spot in the 50 backstroke, 100 free and the 50 butterfly. She led off the 200 free relay and was joined by Caroline Shen '24, Carolyn Miner '27 and Ashlyn Blessey '26.

Other event winners for the Continentals included Brooks Risher '27 in the 500 and 1,000 free in her first collegiate meet, and Emma Robinson '26 in the 400 individual medley.
