Hamilton (10-9 overall) finished in seventh place in the NESCAC standings and is the No. 7 seed for the championship with a 4-6 record. The Continentals are hosting a conference volleyball postseason event for the first time. If Hamilton wins, the Continentals play at No. 2 seed Colby College in a quarterfinal on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.

Bowdoin (11-9) posted a 3-7 NESCAC record, but the Polar Bears slipped from the ninth seed to the 10th for the championship after their win against Bates College was taken away. Bowdoin edged Hamilton in five sets in Brunswick, Maine, back on Oct. 6.
