Women's squash cruises to wins over Vassar and Colgate at home

Continentals have won three straight matches going into NESCAC weekend at Tufts and Conn. College

CLINTON, N.Y. -- The Hamilton College Continentals picked up easy wins against Vassar College and Colgate University at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Sunday afternoon.

Hamilton has won three straight matches after dropping seven in a row to open the season. The Continentals are back on the road for a match at Tufts University on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m.

Eliana Good '24 (first position), Natalie Harrity '23, Eliza Glass '25 and Katie Hodulik '23 defeated both of their opponents. Harrity, Glass and Hodulik played at different positions in the two matches. Good was a winner for the first time this season. Hodulik and Glass have five victories this season and Harrity has three.

Sarah Stonestreet '25 (second position), Eleanor Bailey '25 (third) and Hope Worcester '23 (fifth) won in three games against their Vassar opponents. Worcester's record improved to 4-3. Hamilton won by default at the eighth and ninth positions.

Gainsley Korengold '25 (fifth position), Lily Spencer '26 (sixth), Charlotte Morey '24 (seventh) and Chloe Lance '24 (eighth) were triumphant in three games against their Colgate opponents. Korengold leads the Continentals with seven wins and Spencer is 4-0 this season. Morey posted her second career win and Lance registered her first. The Continentals won by default at the ninth position.
